PURPOSE/SUMMARY:
The VDC Detailer I is responsible for creating precise and coordinated 3D models of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in support of construction projects. This position focuses on detailing and modeling to ensure all systems are clash-free, constructible, and in compliance with project specifications and standards. The role requires collaboration with project teams (internal and external), an understanding of industry standards, and proficiency in relevant software.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree with at least 1 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, showing increasing responsibility for BIM project components.
Expertise in BIM tools and applications related to cost, scheduling, estimating, design, and coordination.
Proven written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical material effectively.
Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, and proficiency with BIM computer applications such as Navisworks.
Experience in conducting skill assessments, providing training, and managing performance reviews.
Further Qualifications - The successful candidate must also pass a background check.
